It was a rainy evening, and I was craving something warm and comforting. I decided to make pasta—simple, classic, and always satisfying.
I started by boiling water and adding a generous pinch of salt. As the pasta cooked, I prepared a rich, creamy sauce. I sautéed garlic in butter until it was fragrant and slightly browned, then poured in some heavy cream and let it simmer. A handful of Parmesan cheese melted into the sauce, making it irresistibly smooth.
When the pasta was perfectly al dente, I tossed it into the sauce, coating every strand in that velvety goodness. A sprinkle of fresh basil and a touch of black pepper completed the dish.
I took my first bite, and it was heavenly. The balance of flavors, the creamy texture, and the dish's warmth were exactly what I needed. Sitting by the window, listening to the rain, I enjoyed every single bite of my perfect pasta.
