I’ll keep it super brief, but if you haven’t already seen on my Twitter, my sweet doggy crossed the rainbow bridge on Friday. I’ll miss her endlessly. Thank you so much for the kindness, understanding, and support in giving her the care she needed until she passed. I will likely remove the posts about her here sometime soon because, of no disrespect to her, but I would like to keep this space full of happy moods and I know others who have felt similar loss might be saddened by it. I’ll leave this post up for a few days however so that anyone who was so kind as to support sees and knows what has happened for full transparency. Thank you again. Miss you, Pepper 🩷🥺

I get to bring home my dog tomorrow. Her biopsy is sent off for testing but that could take a week. Sadly it seems that at this point she will be receiving palliative care at home until it is her time to pass. Please expect very slow replies as I deal with this heartbreaking news. I will of course continue to send past content to new subs, as well as update new content to everyone, and post throw backs. I will try and reply to everyone within a day or two. I am so VERY appreciative and grateful for the kind donations towards her surgery fund. Any future donations to the campaign will continue to help pay off her vet bills and help me provide her with the best end of life care possible. I love my sweet girl so much, and hope whatever time we have left together is full of love and cuddles. I'll keep my more sad themed posts to a minimum here, I just wanted everyone (especially those who donated) to know what was going on. Thank you again. xoxo JJ

Hey all, My dog pepper is going in for surgery in the morning (roughly 7 hrs from now). I am not sure exactly when it will start or end, or what the outcome will be. Naturally I'm really worried about her and so I will likely not respond to msgs/send out previous updates to new subs today (tuesday May 23rd). I promise I won't leave anyone waiting super long. No matte what happens, I will continue to update, post, and msg, I just really need tuesday to myself and to be with my family. To those who have donated to her vet bills/surgery bill, I cannot possibly thank you enough. I'm the kind of person who feels deeply that my animals are my babies. I will do anything for them. For those who could not donate but still sent kind messages, I am also very thankful for you. If anyone still wants to donate to the costs, which grew while she spent the last 3 days in the overnight emergency vet, the post is still pinned to my feed. Thank you all for being so kind, understanding, and patient with me while I go through this.

Msgs delayed until tomorrow luvs! I’ve been with my pup at the emergency vet today, and she goes in for X-rays in the morning. I have to wait while she’s there waiting her turn so I’ll be sending past content to new subs then, as well as finishing up replying to everyone. Thank you so much for your understanding, and I look forward to the new folks enjoying their welcome content very very soon! I’m going to try and get some sleep for now, I’m totally exhausted. THANK YOU! I have been feeling awful for about 2 weeks now. I'm still not 100% yet, but I'm to the point where today was my first day not needing to go back into the hospital. So many of you have sent well wishes and kind thoughts. Telling me to take all the time I need, and being so patient while I play catch up sending out content to the newest members.
